Jim Koshel is a licensed professional counselor with his primary license in Substance Abuse and Addiction. Jim has a degree in Pastoral Care and Substance Abuse Counseling from Ohio Christian University and a Master's Degree in Addiction and Substance Abuse Counseling from Capella University.
He has worked in Marriage and Family Ministries for over 20 years and is passionate about helping relationships stay strong. Jim has worked with couples in all phases of their relationships, including crisis, pre-marriage, divorce recovery, and remarriage.
Jim has spent much of his time working as a Chaplain for several police and fire departments and continues to work in PTSD and crisis intervention areas. He has worked in all areas of addiction and substance abuse for many years, including residential and outpatient recovery. He is compassionate and likes to combine the areas of spiritual experience and clinical resources.
Jim has been married since 1994 to Sue and has six children and four grandchildren.
