Mary Hildebrant, Director of Congregational Care at Bay Presbyterian Church, says...
Matt Williams has provided education and group leadership to Bay Presbyterian Church for over ten years. We now consider him an adjunct staff member who works with our Stephen Ministers to help them understand grief and minister to those experiencing grief. He has also led or supervised our quarterly grief groups, which have helped those in the congregation process and work through the highly complex process and stages of grief. He has the gift of humor and insight, which makes him enjoyable to work with and learn from!
Rev. Terry Morgan of Cincinnati, Ohio, says...
Matt Williams is a person with the experience and degree I trust. He is personal enough to listen with compassion but professional with his counsel. It has been my privilege to spend time with him in and out of the office, and he is consistent with his teachings and counsel.
The bottom line to me is Matt is a man that has chosen to follow Christ and be real. You can count on his desire to be the best at whatever he does. Matt is my friend, and I stand with him as a friend and professional.
Lorene Wolski Mihalko, a Licensed School Psychologist, says...
During the past 25 years, I have attended countless grief and bereavement workshops, seminars, and trainings. Still, none of them have provided me with the depth and breadth of understanding I received from the training provided by Matt Williams.
His approach is a unique combination of theory and practical application interwoven with profound compassion. Matt also weaves his deep faith and his delightful sense of humor into his presentations, during which he creates an enjoyable, engaging and transformative learning experience.
This is what Audra Popik, MACC, LSW, says about Matt Williams...
He is a man of honor and respect. He tends to his clients needs and assists them in being empowered to restore their mental health. Matt serves his clients with integrity and honor while being effective at getting to the root of an issue. Counseling is hard work and to partner with a therapist like Matt creates an atmosphere of healing. I refer clients to him with the confidence that they will receive the best care possible!
